Immigration through the Eyes of Faith: Prayer to Jesus, the Immigrant: Jesus, as an infant you fled to Egypt with your mother Mary and Joseph. You were a vulnerable family in a foreign land, looking for shelter and sustenance. Help us to welcome those like you who cross our borders today. Give us hearts of compassion, humane response, and laws that respect the dignity of all immigrants.

Housing for Veterans: Grand opening of St.Michael the Archangel Haven, much needed housing for veterans and their families, 40 units! Spearheaded by Catholic Charities. Walla Walla Alliance for the Homeless: June 14, Tuesday, 7-8:30 pm. The Tri-Parish Social Concerns Ministry will sponsor a DVD presentation by Rev. Dan Bryant about Opportunity Village, a successful community of tiny homes for the homeless, in Eugene, OR. Representatives from the WW Alliance for the Homeless will be present to discuss their proposed plans for similar transitional mini-houses for the homeless in Walla Walla at Madison Park, 708 W. Pine. They will explain how interested community members can help by volunteering, pledging, and donating.

Tri-Parish Community Garden: Every Tuesday night, 5:30 pm until dusk, volunteers will work & harvest food from the garden to be distributed to food banks, etc. “Our harvest station and shade will be ready in a few weeks, along with a highly organized shed.
