Are you or someone you know interested in becoming a Catholic or learning more about the Catholic faith? If so, we invite you or them to consider taking the next step. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults — commonly shortened to “RCIA” — is a process of learning and prayer that helps adults grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and his community of faith in the Catholic Church. Oftentimes, RCIA finds its culmination in the receiving of one or all of the Sacraments of Initiation — Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist. However, RCIA and the sacraments are more than just goals or milestones to pass; they are profound moments of God’s powerful love in our lives, and they open the way before us to a vibrant, authentic life of faith and communion with our Lord and fellow Catholics.
RCIA classes are held on Thursdays, 6:30 – 8:00 pm in the St. John of the Cross room on the grounds of St. Patrick Church (408 W Poplar). Contact the St. Patrick parish office (509-525-1602) for more information.
The below registration form can be filled out and dropped off at any of the parish offices in Walla Walla.
