If you are looking for some Lenten inspiration, think about coming to the March 26, Adult Ed Movie and a Snack event to view the movie, PADRE PIO. Padre Pio was a Capuchin friar who died in 1968 after 50 years as a friar, healer and stigmatist. While he led a saintly life and was revered by many he was also persecuted by others, including some in the Church. While this movie is in Italian it is dubbed in English and has English subtitles. It is rated for adults. It will be held in the parish hall at Assumption. The movie will run from 1 – 5pm with a break in the middle. Movie and snacks provided by the Tri-Parish Adult Ed. ministry team. See a preview at: FORMED.ORG
