Entering the Door of Mercy

A Tri-Parish pilgrimage to Pasco
Saturday, October 22
Starting at 8 a.m.
St. Patrick’s in Walla Walla

During the Jubilee of Mercy, Pope Francis encourages each diocese to open a Holy Door, to which pilgrims can journey. Our diocese’s Holy Door is located at St. Patrick, Pasco.

Our pilgrimage will start with Mass at St. Patrick in Walla Walla. Then we’ll drive to Pasco, where there will be an opportunity for passing through the Holy Door, as well as Reconciliation and Eucharistic Adoration. The event will conclude with Eucharistic Benediction.

Bring a bag lunch, and feel free to combine the pilgrimage with that trip to the Tri-Cities you have long been postponing!

The Holy Father writes, “May pilgrimage be an impetus to conversion: by crossing the threshold of the Holy Door, we will find the strength to embrace God’s mercy and dedicate ourselves to being merciful with others as the Father has been with us.”
