Proceeds will benefit the artisans, the Guatemala Mission, & efforts to help the homeless in WW, as well as the Catholic Relief Services global outreach efforts.

Helpline Giving Tree: St. Francis & St. Patrick’s. For the next 2 weekends the Helpline Giving Tree will offer an opportunity during the Christmas season to share essential items of daily living with those in need: Money for heat & bus passes, twin & full blankets, shampoo, bar soap, deodorant, toilet paper, sanitary supplies, razors, toothpaste & brushes, etc. Please take one or two tags & return unwrapped items to Giving Tree. Make check donations payable to your parish, with notation “Helpline Giving Tree”.

Toys for Tots: Assumption: Please help make sure every child in WW will get a Christmas present by bringing an unwrapped toy the next two weekends.

Feed the Hungry: Please remember to bring much needed, non-perishable, food items and/or checks written to BMAC Food Bank, every Sunday of this Advent sea-son. Remember that BMAC can buy 6X as much food as can be bought at a retail grocery store with your dollar. BMAC distributes food to all the WW food banks, including St. Vincent’s.

GOTR Homeless Tent Camp: About 40 winter residents. The WW Alliance for the Homeless has used a donation to buy a communal tent & wood stove to be used as a warming center on freezing nights. MOST NEEDED supplies: firewood, large tarps, good sleeping bags for sub-freezing weather, warm hats, socks, gloves, long johns, work boots & jeans, 5/8 inch or thicker plywood for platforms for tents, camping mats. Bring to camp at foot of Veterans’ Memorial Golf Course near Borleske Stadium from 12 noon-6 pm, M-F, when volunteer is present, or call 541-203-0122.
